- Zoe Saldaña teases a potential reunion between Gamora and Star-Lord
- Saldaña mentions Iron Man’s funeral scene as a significant moment between the characters
- The future of Gamora and Star-Lord’s relationship may be explored in future Marvel films
Actress Zoe Saldaña has recently given some hints about a possible reunion of her character Gamora and Star-Lord (played by Chris Pratt) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While promoting her new film “Avatar 2”, she discussed the potential future of the beloved relationship between these two Guardians of the Galaxy characters.
Saldaña mentioned that a significant moment between Gamora and Star-Lord took place during Iron Man’s funeral scene in “Avengers: Endgame”. In an interview with Movieweb, she said, “We did a scene for that, I think. I don’t remember. I’ve been away from Gamora since “Endgame”. But I believe we recorded something where we all sort of met and had a little reunion.”
The funeral scene, which was not featured in the final cut of the movie, potentially hinted at the rekindling of the relationship between Gamora and Star-Lord, who were separated due to the events of “Avengers: Infinity War”. Saldaña’s comments suggest that this deleted scene, or others like it, may lead to further exploration of Gamora and Star-Lord’s relationship in the upcoming Marvel movies.
It remains uncertain whether the reunion will take place in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” or any other Marvel films. Fans of the franchise, however, are undoubtedly excited about the possibility of seeing their favorite space duo reunite on the big screen.
