During an interview, Tim Burton shared that he was on the verge of stepping away from filmmaking. He felt burnt out and uninspired, thinking it might be time to hang up his director’s hat. However, a sudden spark reignited his passion, leading him back to the world of Beetlejuice. “I was very close to calling it quits,” he admitted, emphasizing how close he came to leaving the industry for good.
