Oscar winner and The Goonies star Ke Huy Quan has secured the lead role in the action film With Love, produced by David Leitch and Kelly McCormick’s company 87North. According to Deadline, Quan gained the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for his role in Everything Everywhere All at Once and will be directed by Jonathan Eusebio, who worked on the John Wick movies.
Quan is recognized for his early performances in The Goonies and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Recently, his career experienced a resurgence due to his part in the action comedy Everything Everywhere All at Once. Since then, he has carefully chosen his roles, appearing in Netflix’s American Born Chinese and joining Marvel’s Loki in its second season.
Jonathan Eusebio will make his directorial debut with With Love. He has a wealth of experience in action films, having served as a stunt coordinator on the first three John Wick movies, The Matrix Resurrections, and Violent Night, where he also acted as second unit director.
